Arne König: ''Journalism as a public good is a rare value for European societies''

[25/01/2011] Press freedom, protection of reporters’ sources, media concentration: while addressing the Parliamentary Assembly on Tuesday, the President of the European Federation of Journalists has highlighted relevant challenges for today’s journalism. ''Council of Europe member states –added König- should implement into their national legislation the recommendations from 2009 Reykjavik Ministerial Conference on Media and New Communication Services''.
