"Indignez-vous! Et après..." with Stephane Hessel
The Council of Europe and the City of Strasbourg organised the 5th edition of the “Strasbourg Dialogues” in the presence of Stéphane Hessel. Former Resistance member, Stéphane Hessel went on to become a diplomat and was involved in the drafting of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In 2004 he was awarded the North-South Prize by the Council of Europe for his courageous stand and his writing in favour of the disadvantaged and the defence of human rights.
The Council of Europe Deputy Secretary General, Maud de Boer-Buquicchio, hosted the debate which was moderated by Jacques Fortier from the ''Dernières Nouvelles d’Alsace.''
