Strasbourg, 19 February 2014 - The Committee of Ministers today discussed the situation in Ukraine. In the light of the latest developments in the country, it gave its support to the Secretary General´s call of 18 February to put an immediate end to the violence. The Committee reiterated its readiness to provide assistance and urged the Ukrainian authorities to appoint their representative on the International Advisory Panel proposed by the Secretary General.
