Member States agree on stable Council of Europe Budget for 2014-2015
Committee of Ministers

Strasbourg, 20 November 2013 - On 20 November 2013 the Committee of Ministers approved the Council of Europe’s Programme and Budget 2014-2015.

This is the organisation’s second biennial programme and budget. The two-year cycle provides more stability and predictability than the previous annual programmes and budgets.

The principle of zero nominal growth has been applied to the total of member States' contributions to the Ordinary Budget. This means there is no adjustment for inflation. The Ordinary Budget amounts to € 244 Million for 2014 and 2015 respectively. The total annual resources of the Council of Europe in 2014 and 2015 will total approximately €400 million.
