Secretary General Jagland makes official visit to Croatia

Strasbourg, 12.04.2013 – Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland is making an official visit to Croatia today.



In Zagreb, Mr Jagland is holding bilateral meetings with the President of Croatia Ivo Josipović, the Prime Minister Zoran Milanović, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić, and the Speaker of the Parliament Josip Leko today.

 

Topics for discussion include cooperation between Croatia and the Council of Europe, EU membership and current issues in the region.

 

A press conference is scheduled at 10.15 am on Friday 12 April (Ceremonial Hall).
